Overview The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the consolidation and analysis of month and quarter end financial statements in respect to forecasting, budgeting and planning for the division of companies.This position will interact regularly with various levels of management.Requires independent judgment and ability to work under limited supervision. Responsibilities Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.Assist FP&A managers and Sr. analyst on analysis and reporting.Extract and consolidate data for monthly reports.Collaborate with Accounting and other business stakeholders to support monthly close process.Work with Planning and Analysis Manager and Director to develop reporting packages, specifically focusing on external metrics and financial performance.Work with accounting team with month end variance analysis to Budget and most recent Forecast.Review headcount coding for accuracy and work with HR operations to correct inconsistent coding in HR systems.Generate and send monthly rosters to business leaders for feedback and corrections. Qualifications Ideally 3-4 years of experience in a financial support role where a strong emphasis on reporting and analytics is critical.BS/BA in accounting, Finance, Economics or other quantitative filed.Rich experience in working with a large amount of data, including extraction, transfer and consolidation of data from multiple data source.Ability to handle deadlines as well as perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excell skills required.Microsoft applications skills (Power Point, Outlook, Power BI).Experience with data analysis or business intelligence tools.Knowledge & Skill:
Requires extensive training and experience to perform a wide variety of interrelated, multi-skilled or standard procedural assignments and resolve a wide range of moderately complex issues.Accomplished in implementing practical procedures or systems, which are moderately complex and require extended skill in order to ensure proper completion.Basic understanding of the roles of various functional groups within own area.
