As a Financial Analyst, supporting HealthTrust’s Energy Program, you will provide financial, savings/opportunity, and other economic analyses; assisting Energy Program participating facilities in evaluating savings and managing price risk. This position will support energy procurement teams through the acquisition of consumption/volume/usage data, development of load profiles, supporting RFP efforts including - but not limited to - thorough bid analysis for apples-to-apples assessment of vendor price submittals.

Job Summary and Qualifications
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Creating load profiles, compiling supporting account data and RFP files. Creating RFPs for Energy Procurement events, as requested by negotiators
+ Accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals, including all follow-up with vendors to ensure comparative evaluations of offerings and determining best vendor for given member clients
+ Generating quarterly and/or monthly reports that summarize natural gas savings by participants, state, utility market and corporate affiliation, among other possible delineators.
+ Effective communication of analysis results to procurement teams and other applicable stakeholders
+ Processing GPO fees for all Energy Programs. This includes, but not limited to, ensuring timely application of fees to ensure compliance with Financial Operations department deadlines, coordinating and working with procurement teams and AVP, Energy to apprise of pending fee issues that need the input and assistance of procurement teams. High degree of collaborative skills will be necessary to work with procurement teams, vendors and other stakeholders. This role will assume accountability for all things GPO Fee Processing and will engage procurement teams as necessary to help with all discrepancies.
+ Entering admin fee and rebate projections into internal system for contracts across all National contracting teams
DUTIES
+ Opportunity analysis of product proposals including value enhancement and impact analysis for recommending tactical solutions
+ Preparation of RFI and RFP documents
+ Ad Hoc requests from management
+ Effective communication to finance team lead, procurement teams, Fee Processing, contract management, suppliers, utilities, clients and other stakeholders
+ Vendor sanction checks and vendor credit risk assessments
+ Client credit data, D&B and other pertinent financial information review and retrieval
+ Market share data analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or relevant field
+ 2-3+ years of related financial analysis experience
+ Proficiency in MS Excel is required
+ Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI experience is beneficial
+ Knowledge of other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook) required
+ Excellent teamwork, organization, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills
+ Awareness of energy or utility market metrics, units of measure and terms a plus
