The Opportunity

This Financial Analyst position works onsite out of our Santa Clara, CA location in the Structural Heart Division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

What You’ll Work On

Support month-end close process and reporting of monthly financial performance metrics on a timely and accurate basis.Prepare, consolidate, and analyze global LBE information to support deliverables during LBE/LBEC/Plan cycle.Partner with Commercial and Functional teams including Operations and Global Marketing to acquire information for reporting and variance analysis.Develop flexible, comprehensive tools and templates to support the consolidation and timely completion of Structural Heart BU, Medical Device Division and Corporate schedules as well as develop process improvements that meet the needs of the financial planning and reporting requirement.Analyze detailed financial forecasts incorporating historical results, trends, and current business/market information.Assist with executive presentation development and compilation.Supports Finance management on key projects and analysis.Perform Ad hoc requests for management, with data mining and presentation support.Back up for DHQ Senior Analyst.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience.2+ years of full-time finance and/or accounting experience.Financial Software Proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of public accounting and/or internal audit experience preferredRobust working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Essbase.Medical device industry experience very helpfulExperience with SAP, Business Objects and Hyperion Smartview/EssbaseExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical, problem solving, variance analysis skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.Cross-functional dialogue and strategy is essential.



The base pay for this position is $79,500.00 – $138,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
