Job Title: Financial Analyst Job Description The role of an financial analyst is crucial in helping organizations and decision makers understand the impact on investments and business and financial strategies, manage risk, and forecast future results. Financial analyst responsibilities include: Responsibilities + Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing. + Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis. + Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts. + Assist in the monthly close process by analyzing trends and variances related to revenue, and compare and correct data to reconcile transactions. + Developing and presenting financial information and recommendations to leadership, management teams, and other business decision-making stakeholders. + Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather pertinent information to develop financial forecasts. Essential Skills • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, business administration, or equivalent • Advanced proficiency in the use of spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Docs) and presentation software applications (PowerPoint, Keynote etc.) • Minimum of two + years of financial analysis and financial modeling experience • Strong communication both written and verbal • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $46.00/hr.
