The Financial Analyst, Corporate will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial analysis and reporting needs. The individual in this role will lead/support various financial processes, including quality assurance validations, forecasting, and profitability analysis, all while working closely with key business/operations stakeholders to provide financial insights and forecasts for the organization

 

Full time Hybrid role based out of the Somerset, New Jersey location.

 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead quality assurance validations of customer and project-level financials on a monthly basis.Gather and consolidate financial data related to labor and sales forecasts weekly, and report forecast to senior leadership.Provide ad-hoc support for the company’s pricing efforts, ensuring programs achieve profitability metrics and validating appropriate cost inputs for pricing purposes.Collect and consolidate financial data from key stakeholders during financial forecast and budget cycles.Conduct ad-hoc analysis on customer, business unit, and service offering profitability.Support the month-end close process through variance-to-forecast and trend analysis.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field strongly preferred. Equivalent business experience will be considered

Business Experience: 2+ years of related, practical experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting or data analytics or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power-Point.Fundamental knowledge and skills in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.Comfortable working with large and complex data sets; technical and analytical skillsCuriosity, positive attitude and eagerness to learnStrong work ethic; initiative and pro-activityEffective communicationAdaptability and flexibility
