Your responsibilities in this role - Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations - Survey performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI) - Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary - Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis - Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans - Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - Compose and oversee forecasting reports Requirements - Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau - Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended - Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Financial analysis & planning (go-to-market experience preferable) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel - Excel Formulas experience - Solid understanding of financial analysis - Foundational knowledge in budget forecasting - Experience with variance analysis Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
