Position Summary:
To maintain superior customer focus, we are seeking a FINANCIAL ANALYST to join our team in Louisville, KY.
This position is responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial data in order to provide accurate forecasting, identify variances in actual vs. budget, and assess product sales and order trends for a global business. Position reports to Financial Manager. For the right candidate, this role can lead to other challenging opportunities in Louisville, or perhaps within the vast Emerson network of companies around the world!
Essential Job Functions:
Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan Determines financial status by analyzing plans and forecasts vs. actual results Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions Understand business drivers and communicate findings Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data and preparing reports Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Accomplishes finance and organizational mission by completing related tasks as needed Coordinates and prepares consolidates sales report for two sites. Organizes corporate exhibits for quarterly and annual planning Prepares recurring and special reports and analysis and handles special projects as required, both structured and unstructured Run inventory and Sales transaction in company ERP systemWho you are:

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance 3-5 years Finance or Accounting experience Experience with ERP systems Proficient use of Microsoft Office products w/Advanced Excel Skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet tight deadlines Must be cooperative, communicate professionally with financial partners worldwide Excellent financial analytical skills Must be detail and process oriented Must be able to communicate results in a clear and concise manner Ability to travel international 5% or lessPreferred Knowledge:
