About the client and role:
A well-established real estate investment firm with a strong track record in multifamily property acquisitions and management is seeking a Portfolio Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst. This role is based in Vancouver, BC, and will play a key part in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning for a diverse property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for a property portfolioConduct financial analysis, modeling, reforecasting, and reportingTrack portfolio debt and lender reportingWork closely with internal teams to support capital project cash planningProvide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support investment decisionsCollaborate with various departments, including Asset Management, Construction, and Accounting, to ensure financial accuracy and process improvementsReview property performance, identify trends, and support strategic decisionsAssist with acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing modelsSupport executive-level reporting and presentationsRequired Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Real Estate3+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or real estateCFA and/or CPA designation (or in progress) is an assetStrong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, dashboards)Experience with Yardi Voyager or Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plusStrong analytical, project management, and communication skillsAbility to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentCompensation:$70,000-$85,000Up to 10% bonusHybrid working + Work from home allowance3 Weeks VacationCell phone allowanceExtended health benefitsRSP matchingPlus other exciting benefits!
