Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USCYBERCOM Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities Analyzes the budgetary impact of new or revised legislation, policies, and procedures. Reviews and analyzes budget submissions including budgetary goals, timetables, milestones, and criteria for assessing program cost-effectiveness. Determines the propriety and cost effectiveness of funding requests. Incumbent utilizes expertise in data analytics and data mining, planning, and conducting research to address issues in areas where reports and products do not currently exist. Monitors and reviews obligations, expenditures, reimbursable orders, requests for allotments, etc. through examination of accounting records, continuing dialogue with program officials, and review of written documents. Advises program managers on the status and availability of funds.
