The Financial Analyst will support company growth and help establish it as a leader in trucking payment solutions. This role requires strong financial skills, analytical thinking, and a tech-savvy, team-oriented mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
Company-wide reporting and data analysis Assisting with month-end close Preparing and monitoring budgets Creating and maintaining financial models Identifying trends and anomalies in large datasets
This position works closely with VPs, the CEO, and external stakeholders, so strong communication and reliability are essential.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop an intimate knowledge of our products, system capabilities, & industry Develop and produce internal reporting on transactions and multiple financial metrics Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts when necessary Create and maintain KPI dashboards to measure department and company metrics Create and enhance customer pricing and profitability models Assist in preparing month-end financials and other materials for executives and stakeholders Analyze transactional data to identify trends across a customer or the industry Develop and monitor ROI reporting for internal projects and other investments Analyze large data sets for completeness, accuracy, and consistency among other data When necessary, develop reporting/analytics to help monitor and/or reconcile data Focus on continuous process improvement and identifying areas for automation Other projects as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field 1-3 years of relevant experience B2B payment or transportation industry experience preferred, but not required
Skills & Knowledge
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred) Familiarity with financial statements and accounting software/ERP Planning and budgeting software experience preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Able to interact with all levels of an organization Flexible, professional, and able to handle pressure Strong problem-solving skills using multiple data sources Ability to handle confidential information responsiblyJob Function(s): Accounting and Finance
