Financial Analyst

Your role. 

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

·         Assist in preparation of the annual financial plan, including gathering data and analyzing trends

·         Preparation of monthly projections, including variance analysis between actual results, prior year, and plan

·         Monitor financial performance by tracking and analyzing key metrics

·         Preparation of management reporting and analysis for our various practice unit managers and management team

·         Assist in implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning software, including testing and transitioning from current plan process to Adaptive Planning

·         Become subject matter expert in Adaptive Planning, offering support and cross-training as needed

·         Preparation of ad hoc reports and data analysis as needed

·         Supporting CFO and Controller with recurring partner presentations

·         Other duties may include involvement with month end close, preparation of journal entries, tax return preparation, assisting with external audit preparation, and other special projects



The qualifications.

·         1 - 5 years of financial reporting accounting, tax, or financial planning and analysis experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

·         CPA or MBA is a plus

·         Accounting and business skills necessary to:

o   Understand the flow of transactions to the general ledger and financial statements

o   Understand how to effectively present and deliver financial information for analysis

o   Prepare special analysis and reports as requested by entities/Partners

·         Analytical abilities required to identify variances and research questions regarding financial activity

·         Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

·         Strong technical skills with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to promote positive working relationships and explain/interpret accounting information to non – financial people

·         Experience with Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, or other planning software is a plus
