We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis for a 14-week coverage period. This role involves managing daily financial operations, including data entry, bank account management, payment processing, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background , critical thinking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Perform complex analysis in areas such as budgets, strategic plans, product line analysis, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) work, and treasury and/or credit functions.
+ Manage domestic and international bank accounts, cash balances, and related activities.
+ Monitor, implement, and optimize cash processes and controls to mitigate enterprise risk.
+ Determine the global cash position daily to ensure liquidity needs are met.
+ Securely and accurately process electronic fund transfers (EFTs) and cash movements.
+ Utilize the Treasury Management System (TMS) for seamless cash flow forecasting, including interest payments, share repurchases, dividends, and strategic cash movements.
+ Support global business partners with cash forecasting.
+ Manage relationships with banking partners and third parties, completing necessary documentation for SOX controls, bank regulations, organizational changes, or company initiatives.
+ Participate in cross-functional processes and projects.
+ Assist in the integration of banks and bank accounts into the company's TMS.
+ Provide oversight and direction on all Treasury vendor activities.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
+ 3 years of professional experience in Finance; experience in Treasury or Cash Operations is a plus.
+ Highly proficient in Excel; experience with Treasury Management Systems, SAP, and PowerBI preferred.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment.
+ Highest standards of integrity and accuracy with strong attention to detail; highly organized.
+ Critical thinking and ability to work effectively under time constraints.
+ Team player with a positive attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Kariba (treasury management) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Attention to detail and ability to handle large monetary transactions.
+ Ability to question processes and understand the reasoning behind tasks.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment with onsite work required from Tuesday to Thursday, and remote work allowed on Monday and Friday. The role promotes a work-life balance with flexibility for appointments and other commitments. The team operates in a dual control environment and values constant communication and collaboration. The work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, with a possibility to start at 7:30 AM if needed. There is no overtime required. The team is relaxed, collaborative, and each member has a set of daily tasks. Training will be provided by experienced team members.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
