Bell has an opening in Fort Worth, TX headquarters for a motivated Financial Analyst whose role will leverage their knowledge in data analysis, Power BI, and Excel to build insightful financial dashboards and reports\.
The position will play a key role in transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that drive business decisions, streamline processes, and improve financial performance\. Initially, the role will focus on Finished Good inventory analysis and preparing the surplus and obsolescence reserve\. In addition, the position will be responsible for supporting the business with inventory reductions, Business Reviews, and identifying operational metrics\. The candidate will analyze Spares Profitability performance and work with the business to understand underlying trends\. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem\-solver with a passion for data\-driven solutions, automation, and process optimization\.
**What you'll be doing as a Financial Analyst:**
* Analyze large sets of financial data to extract key insights and trends, supporting the finance team in making data\-driven decisions\.
* Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, providing real\-time data visualizations for key financial metrics\.
* Responsible for monthly Inventory reports, analysis, and communicating explanations for fluctuations to management, as well as calculate and analyze the quarterly finished goods surplus and obsolescence \(S&O\) reserve and provision for slow moving inventory\.
* Partner with business to achieve inventory reduction initiatives and help determine metrics to track progress, as well as work with IT, the business, and co\-workers to support dashboards in Power BI for Inventory and Spares, etc\.
* Responsible for monthly Spares profitability analysis and communicating explanations for margin variances and fluctuations to upper management, as well as preparing quarterly program review package that analyzes top part performance and sales and cost production trends\.
* Work closely with senior finance managers and stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, ensuring dashboards and reports meet their requirements\.
* Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas \(including VBA, Pivot Tables, Power Query\) to support financial analysis and reporting\.
* Working closely with Business Operations to forecast part performance using data\-driven insights for financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis\.
* Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting as required to support the finance team and leadership in decision\-making as well as identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial reporting and analysis workflows\.

**Skills You Bring To this Role:**
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non\-technical stakeholders\.
* Understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and key performance indicators \(KPIs\)\.
* Team Player and self\-starter capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
* Detail oriented with good organization and critical thinking skills\.
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a keen eye for data accuracy and integrity\.
* Must be able to take initiative to proactively seek out solutions to business issues
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross\-functional teams and support various finance\. and business functions\.
* Familiarity in SQL for querying, manipulating, and ensuring data integrity across multiple databases\.
**What you need to be successful:**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics/Data Analytics, Economics, or Mathematics\.
* 2 years of work experience in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems\.
* Experience working with SAP\.
* Experience in Power BI for developing and maintaining complex financial dashboards and reports\.
* Knowledge in advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, and experience using Excel for financial modeling\.
