Job Description

GDIT is currently seeking a Financial Analyst Advisor to join our team. You will be supporting GDIT's FEDCIV division. This position will be working with a larger team supporting nine task orders.

How a Financial Analyst Advisor will make an impact:

Financials, Forecasting and Budgeting

5 year strat plan, monthly and quarterly forecast and outlook for revenue, profit, direct labor, subcontract costs and other direct costs.

Revenue recognition and at Risk coordination

Variance analysis and other Adhoc analysis

Program Finance Reporting

Estimated to Complete (ETCs)/Estimates at Completion (EACs)

Program level P&L and program investment outlooks

Prepare financial charts in PMRs and Insight

Provide proper charge numbers and Work Authorization mappings

Partner with the Program/Ops Team

Influence business decisions

Manage financial risk and risk mitigation

Customer and Contract Support

Program set-up in Oracle/Costpoint

Project close out

Prepare ACS 606 Revenue Recognition 5-step model and 5 SD

Contract Mod review/approval

Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, reconciliation

Limitation of Funds data and notification to Contracts

Program maintenance (tax, funding, orders)

Purchase Requisition Review and Financial Approval

Verify charge number, account coding, funding

Validate payment terms

Request de-commits on purchase orders

Interfaces with project managers, customers and business leaders on a regular basis


In order to be considered, you must have the following:

Education: Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years related experienceExcellent Microsoft Excel skills, specifically Excel formulasExperience with Oracle Financials, OBIEE and HyperionAnalytical skills; ability to solve problems with minimal oversightExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be a US Person due to systems access

Preferred skills: Experience with macros, government contracting experience
