Responsibilities:

Responsible for advanced tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly financial business review to provide insight into business.Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to senior management.Prepare financials for monthly close and forecasting process.Analyze both the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.Act as focal point for communication of financials.Develop long-range financial models in collaboration with the management team.May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.Ensure subsidiary readiness for year-end audit.Provide financial leadership to the business, helping drive profitable growth.Manage revenue and cost adjustment submission, ensuring accuracy and review of proper back up information.Collaborate across organizations/functions including sales, operations, line of business and project management.

To be considered, candidates must have the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance plus eight (8) years related industry experience, or 12+ years related experience in lieu of the degreeStrong forecasting skills with the ability to  understand the impact of business decisions on P&LAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables); ability to analyze, interpret, and compile information from a variety of sourcesDemonstrated strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, attention to detail and must be able to function independently, consistently meeting deadlines with little management guidanceDemonstrated understanding of FAR regulations with the ability to decide appropriate action for routine contractual and financial reporting based on interpretation of FAR.Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collection cycles with the ability to exercise cash management techniquesMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.Location is hybrid. MUST be willing to go into Falls Church office 3x days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hyperion/ESSBASE/SmartView/Oracle experience preferredMust have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead, strong problem solving abilities, and a strong customer service focusAbility to prepare/review pricing with recommendations for ManagementStrongly prefer that candidates have eight (8) full years government contracting experience
