Your Role:

 

The Life Science Services FP&A team partners with the Life Science Services (LSS) Controlling team as well as global business leaders to report on/forecast the business results and to build/support strategic initiatives.

 

You prepare Closing activities and reviews for Life Science Services (LSS) including updating templates, slides, consolidating team inputs as well as meeting all timelines with accurate results including overviews for management reviews.

You consolidate Sales & P&L forecasts from LSS controlling partners and validate input into planning tools.  Review with Head of LSS Controlling and prepare commentary, bridges and slide decks as required. You drive and team-up with business partnering organizations to analyze the LSS P&L as well as dynamics in sales development, create/maintain/automate reports for LSS controlling team in a timely manner (e.g. Headcount).

You maintain/improve production reporting/closing/forecasting process. and maintain LSS Controlling Teams channel, keep LSS Controlling calendar updated, communicate timelines, deliverables and key information to LSS Controlling team.

You prepare LSS financial reporting deliverables for Life Science FP&A as required in an accurate and timely manner. 

As Key User for financial systems (MC4F, ASP, SAC) you represent LSS FP&A Controlling attend meetings, coordinate updates, team support and training as needed.

You participate as LSS FP&A Controlling representative in key LS projects (e.g. Project LEAP). Attend meetings/workshops, collect/coordinate requirements for LSS, keep LSS Controlling team regularly informed of project team topics and progress.  

 

Who You Are:  

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting discipline with 7+ years of financial working experience or Bachelor’s degree in Business with 5+ years of experience working in Finance or Accounting within an intergantional company.Exceptional Excel skills (advanced user – lookups, pivot tables, large data sets, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong oral and written communications in English, able to communicate globally across cultures Attention to detail and focus on quality and timeliness; feel comfortable working with large volumes of data to create concise analysis while culling out relevant insightsAbility to build/improve/automate processes with significant data setsAbility to work independently, balance multiple deliverables/activities and be goal/deadline oriented Collaborative with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and intuitively challenge the status quoDemonstrate flexibility and maintain open mind set with regards to technical challenges and changing priorities working in a global business environmentKnowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle & SAP), familiar with TM1, Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, Powerpoint (including Think-Cell)
