We are extending an opportunity for a diligent Financial Analyst - Entry Level to become a part of our team. Based in Washington, District of Columbia, you'll be a vital player in our finance industry operations. You'll be required to handle customer applications, ensure up-to-date customer records, and be the point of contact for customer inquiries. With a focus on credit handling, your role will also involve closely monitoring customer accounts and initiating necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
+ Financial Analysis:
+ Support the development and maintenance of financial models to analyze trends and forecast organizational performance.
+ Prepare variance analysis reports comparing budgeted versus actual expenses.
+ Budgeting & Forecasting:
+ Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and grant-specific budgets.
+ Collaborate with program managers to ensure accurate budget tracking.
+ Reporting:
+ Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to internal stakeholders.
+ Assist in preparing financial data for grant applications, audits, and compliance purposes.
+ Data Management:
+ Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
+ Support the reconciliation of accounts, including expenses and revenues.
+ Process Improvement:
+ Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
+ Collaboration:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, program, and administrative staff, to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for efficient data management and financial analysis tasks.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required to maintain and manage client relationships effectively.
• Ability to perform various accounting functions such as accounts payable, receivable, and payroll is essential.
• Experience or knowledge in auditing procedures is necessary to ensure the accuracy and legality of financial records.
• Understanding of budget processes is required for the planning, reviewing, and implementing of budgets.
• Knowledge of capital management is essential to manage the company's capital structure, funding, and financial risk.
