Financial Analyst - Entry Level
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Financial Analyst in the bustling city of San Francisco, California. This role is situated in our San Francisco office, where you'll be required to work in person for three days a week. Your primary job functions will be to process customer credit applications, maintain accurate customer records, and resolve customer inquiries, all while closely monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action. Responsibilities • Spearhead the accurate calculation of monthly and quarterly commissions payout. • Serve as the primary contact for all commissions related questions, providing thorough and timely answers to the Sales, HR, and FP& A teams. • Establish documentation and controls to handle all commissions related processes effectively. • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Sales, and other departments to achieve seamless execution and alignment of compensation plans across the organization. • Work closely with the Sales team on system improvement initiatives and maintaining the commissions calculation tool. • Leverage advanced Excel skills to carry out financial analysis. • Utilize Salesforce and HR systems (such as Workday) to streamline work processes. • Exhibit strong communication skills: ability to raise issues, provide explanations to cross-functional departments, timely respond etc. • Demonstrate the ability to propose initiatives, recommendations to process improvement, project manage process with minimum supervision. Requirements • Position: Financial Analyst - Entry Level • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field • Proficiency in Compensation - Commissions • Advanced skills in Excel Formulas • Proven ability in Analysis • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation • Strong business and financial acumen • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
