Description Robert Half is seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity for client located out of Hiawatha, IA. This position is 100% remote, but all applicants must reside within the state of Iowa. The Role You will be apart of a small- to mid-size financial services organization specializing in aggregating, maintaining, and sharing financial information from municipal borrowers across the U.S. Join a team where your actions directly contribute to providing valuable insights to the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities As a Financial Analyst, you will: + Analyze Financial Statements: Review a high volume of financial statements nationwide to extract relevant financial data. + Data Input and Maintenance: Accurately input data into the company’s proprietary database and update files as needed when new financial statements become available. + Online Research: Conduct research to compile company financial information to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Requirements Required Qualifications + A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required (senior students nearing degree completion are welcome to apply). + Strong understanding of financial statements and a solid foundation in accounting principles. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. + Critical thinking and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. + Ability to work independently in a quiet, productive environment. Work Environment + This is a full-time, remote position requiring candidates to be based in Iowa. + Standard hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
