P.F. Chang’s is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in providing financial planning and decision support across multiple departments, delivering key insights to operations, finance, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis: Prepare analyses to evaluate business results, trends, and outlooks. Utilize financial tools and systems to provide concise, meaningful insights. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for monthly business reviews, covering financial results and business initiatives.
Financial & Operational Reporting: Compile, analyze, and summarize weekly, monthly, and periodic reports to support store-level operations, leadership, and executive management.
Financial Modeling: Assist in building financial models with integrated financial statements, assumptions, and metrics. Analyze historical performance and market trends to refine model assumptions and perform sensitivity analyses.
Business Analysis: Apply business analytics and data mining techniques to drive insights for concept and finance leadership.
Planning Process: Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts. Analyze actual results against projections, identify key assumptions, and perform sensitivity analyses.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve tools and automate processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Project Support & Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial and business analytics on revenue and expenses, return on investment, and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Experience: 1-4 years in FP&A/finance or a closely related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Workday, PowerPoint, and other financial systems. Must have previous experience working with large data sets.
Analytical Ability: Strong ability to assess financial and operational trends and develop data-driven insights.
Adaptability: Willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to various projects as needed.
