Hopkins is located 7 miles west of Minneapolis, boasting natural surroundings in a suburban environment that also provides quick access to major travel ways and local restaurants that give our community a distinct character. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst I is responsible for assisting in pricing and revenue analysis for the Commercial business. Pricing support includes building customer pricing, profitability analysis, and administration of financial agreements. In addition, will participate in routine financial and accounting processes and provide timely, accurate, and reliable information to the business and assigned internal customer groups. Position involves partnering with internal and external customer groups. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and analyze pricing and financial measures for specific customer groups, inclusive of product pricing, program execution, and profitability analysis. Facilitate preparation and administration of financial agreements/commitments from information provided by internal customer groups as necessary. Support intake of and maintain customer or supplier contracts, profiles, and data to support future analysis and business decisions. Perform general accounting duties including, but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliation and customer reconciliation. Prepare monthly reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business. Assist with month-end variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting sales volumes and revenue. Assist in Revenue forecasting and annual planning processes. Monitor and assure business process and customer program compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or related field; will also accept equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 1-3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with demonstrated skills in financial analysis and report or financial accounting. Excellent communication with strong analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills. Proficient in Excel and ERP solutions (preferably SAP). #FirstInPeople
