Job Description Job Purpose The Finance department is part of the ICE Corporate organization and is responsible for financial planning & analysis. This role is in the London Finance team and supports the Fixed Income and Data Services business segment - this segment has annual global revenues of approximately $2bn. The role supports the processes for the planning & analysis of various products with the business segment which: enable the management team to set targets and track performance for revenue; provide forecast information to the CFO to support the quarterly SEC earnings & revenue guidance process Responsibilities Maintain and update the Excel revenue models to reflect the annual budget assumptions, monthly forecast assumptions and monthly actual revenue results. Submit the revenue forecasts into the ICE corporate finance planning/reporting application (Hyperion) Prepare the monthly Net New Business analysis which categorizes the monthly revenue movements for each customer account into new sales, erosions (cancellations) and price increases Report the monthly actual erosions (cancellations) by customer detail to the Relationship Management team Maintain/report annual revenue subscription values by customer Track sales backlog changes (new customer contracts signed but yet to bill) Prepare summary of monthly variances of actual v forecast/budget revenue Prepare summary of the reasons for change in revenue projections between monthly forecasts Help to prepare monthly presentation of the revenue forecasts to the management team and attend review meetings Deal with responses to ad hoc requests for information and analysis relating to revenue Knowledge and Experience Undergraduate Honours degree - Upper Second (or equivalent), Finance-related subjects preferred (e.g. Business, Accounting/Finance, Economics) Minimum 1 year experience in a Finance/Accounting environment Excel - ability/confidence to use the functions commonly used in a Finance/Accounting team, examples including: managing/manipulating very large amounts of data pivot tables filtering commonly used functions (e.g. SUMIF, VLOOKUP) external file links Good communication skills both written and verbally Confidence dealing with senior leadership Ability & willingness to ask questions about and suggest improvements to existing processes Awareness of the importance of deadlines and deliverables and ability to get on with work independently and seek guidance where necessary Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
