Position SummaryFinancial Analysts are responsible for conducting research, providing analysis, and preparing reports to support financial decision-making and profitability of the firm or a specific business unit/line. The open position resides in the bank’s Corporate Treasury unit and plays a key role in maintaining the Asset/Liability Management (ALM) model, which drives balance sheet management and interest rate risk analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform income simulation and economic value analysis to assess risk to earnings in various interest rate environmentsEvaluate and update model settings based on historical and market data analysisPerform financial projections and scenario analysisCollaborate with other business units on modeling assumptions and analysisPrepare reports that drive management decision-makingPerform model monitoring activitiesMaintain documentation for model inputs, changes, and resultsQualifications

Requirements:
BS/BA Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, or a related field2+ years’ experience in financial modeling or fixed income analytics is preferredPractical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies.Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills with well-developed presentation skills.Ability to employ complex analytical tools to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business informationComputer Skills
