JOB SUMMARY

 Hybrid position located in Round Rock/Marble Falls, TX

\n

 The Financial Analyst I performs financial analysis for Baylor Scott and White (BSWH) and the entities supported by Financial Analysis.  Assists in the collection and analysis of data on new projects or services, capital acquisitions, annual budgeting, and long-range strategic financial planning.

\n

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

\n\nPerforms analysis of financial and operational data to support management decisions including impact on current operations and projections of future impact.\nSupports input and tracking of capital requests.\nSupports annual Hospital Operations budgeting process.\nDevelops and produces monthly Operational/Financial Reports as required/requested.\nSupports Operations in understanding/explaining Actual vs Budget financial reporting\nAnalyze trends, patterns, and deviations in labor productivity data, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending strategies for enhancement.\nHelp conduct finance training for Hospital Operations personnel.\nParticipates in performance/process improvement objectives of BSWH.\n\n

 KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

\n\nStrong accounting background\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office\nFamiliar with Kaufmann Hall and Lawson financial software preferred\nHealthcare industry experience preferred\n\n
