Financial Analyst II, ASG IV (Onsite) **Galveston, Texas, United States** **New** Business, Managerial & Finance UTMB Health Requisition # 2406209 **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in related field and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. **Job Description:** To perform financial and operational analysis activities with an intermediate functional or organizational scope. **Job Duties:** The Financial Analyst II position will work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst and collaborate with ASG IV and departmental leadership to provide comprehensive financial and analytical support. The key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to: + Coordinates, prepares, and analyzes financial and operational reports, financial statements, scorecards, metrics, benchmarks, budgets, and financial forecasts as assigned. + Develops, implements, and manages budgets. + Efficiently retrieves, compiles, and analyzes financial data and statistical information. + Assists in preparing information to identify trends that inform forecasts and support management decision-making. + Analyzes historical and projected financial and operational data to provide leadership with actionable insights for financial decision-making. + Produces ad hoc reports and analyses as needed. + Supports account reconciliation, variance analysis, and forecasting processes. + Oversees and leads the annual sub-certification process. + Manages and reports on the RWSP grant. + Monitors and manages accounts, including income and expenses, across E&G, MSRDP, Other Designated, Restricted, and Agency fund groups, ensuring compliance with budgets, policies, procedures, and donative instruments. + Contributes to the strategic vision and goals of ASG IV and departmental leadership. + Performs additional duties as assigned. **Salary:** Commensurate with Experience. **EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:** UTMB Health strives to provide equal opportunity employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by institutional policy or by federal, state or local laws unless such distinction is required by law.
