Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst II based in Arden Hills, Minnesota. In this role, you will be part of the team, working to assess customer contract performance and manage rebate calculations. This role involves a blend of on-site and remote work, providing a flexible and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze sales data to calculate rebate amount according to agreement terms
• Prepare comprehensive customer rebate notifications summarizing sales data and rebate earned
• Collaborate with sales field to obtain customer market share data and analyze submitted customer information to determine if rebate has been earned based on market share criteria
• Ensure timely rebate payments to customers by guiding a team of contract coordinators who request and mail payments
• Use Revenue Management systems and Microsoft Excel to evaluate sales and rebate criteria, and to process payment
• Maintain thorough documentation for financial audit purposes
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract rebate obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Work in partnership with other rebate analysts to ensure consistency in processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve questions related to agreement language, contract setup, or customer requirements.
Requirements
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in payment processing and contract administration
• Knowledge in audit and finance, with ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to draft agreements and settlements
• Proficient in preparing summary reports and datasets
• Ability to provide guidance and ensure consistency across tasks
• Understanding of market share, contracts and rebate processes
• Experience in contract compliance and accounting functions
• Ability to analyze sales data and prepare notifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
