The Role

The Financial Analyst for our PeopleReady Skilled Trades business unit will work in close collaboration with the Skilled Trades Operations Leader and Financial Manager to provide data collection, reporting, and analytical support for the business and month end close. This reports to the Financial Manager of PeopleReady Skilled Trades and works closely with the Skilled Trades Leadership Team.  Key responsibilities for the position are:

 

Operations Analytical Support – Maintain and update weekly reporting to aid operations leaders in identifying trends in their business. 

 

Financial Review of Projects – Track project and customer P&Ls for oversight of revenue and spend, providing recommendations for improvement where necessary.

 

Prepare monthly reporting packages – Update month end financial reporting packages, working with Financial Manager in analysis of results to identify trends and areas of opportunity.

 

Forecast and Budget Support – Assist Financial Manager during quarterly forecasting and annual budget processes. 

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have proficient financial acumen and a strong analytic mindset.  He or she is self-motivated, eager to learn, and has an eye for process improvement and problem solving.   A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.  In addition, the successful candidate should have the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with 3-5 years related experience or 5+ years of related Accounting/Finance experience without a degree. A desire to continually expand responsibilities and an interest in future career growth opportunities. Strong analytical, modeling, and reporting skills with the ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment. Ability to communicate effectively with Finance & Operations team. Ability to prepare and present financial analysis to “non-finance” audience. Ability to make sense of significant quantities of data with high levels of accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Oracle ERP, SQL and Tableau a plus.

 

The salary for this position is anticipated to range from $60,400 - $90,600 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-matching 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and Tuition Reimbursement, in addition to other programs and perks. 

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $60,400 - $90,600 per year, plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
