Location/Division Specific Information

The financial analyst II will be a member of Evidera within the Patient and Advisory Services Division (PASD). This role is Wilmington or Raleigh based.

Location: Remote with preference for Wilmington or Raleigh, North Carolina

As a Financial Analyst II you will have the opportunity to provide insights and support at the project-level, as well as business-level, to enable superior P&L performance.

You will be a key member of the Evidera finance team responsible for business partnering to support practice area operations. This role would suit an individual with a passion for financial concepts and data analytics supporting the monthly budgeting process and undertaking ad hoc work when needed.

A Day in the Life:

Ensure the accurate compilation, timely reporting, and analysis of data to assist data evaluation and decision makingMonthly participation in the close activities including, but not limited to, variance tracking, P&L analysis and project reconciliationsVisibility to the monthly forecasting cycleSupport practice area level operations and collaborate with senior leadership for cross-functional efficiencyPerform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.Assist in AOP and STRAP related activitiesFind opportunities for operational improvement both in Finance and the broader businessLeverage multiple ERPs to access data and extract insights

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is required2+ years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of dataExperience in Salesforce / PowerBI / ERPs is a plusStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to juggle multiple projects and implement them successfullySelf-motivated with a bias for actionCommitment to continued learningPossess high level of integrity and ethicsCommitted to collaboration and teamworkAbility to manage upwards and present ideas to stakeholdersFamiliarity with accounting/financial principles and standard methodologies, coupled with strong analytical and quantitative skills
