As a Financial Analyst II at Donaldson, you will be part of a diverse, talented, collaborative, and global Financial Planning and Analysis community who will guide and support you. This position will represent and support our Industrial Air Filtration plants and be the main contact for plant management team in relation to financial, inventory, and vendor needs.
This position will be hybrid (with flex) and can be based in Bloomington, MN, Nicholasville, KY, Auburn, AL, Baldwin, WI, or Harrisonville, MO
Role Responsibilities:
Providing analysis of results and reporting of operational and financial metrics for manufacturing plants and target areas of improvement
Supporting financial analysis of capital projects using realistic benefit cases to ensure investments are made diligently across the plants
Creating forecasts and annual budgets incorporating current trends and internal and external drivers of results
Working with management to help improve efficiencies, reduce cost or other actions that may be necessary
Summarizing and extracting information from corporate and other financial systems to support the decision-making process of other analysts and operations managers
Reporting results to management and key stakeholders
Developing and implementing dashboards and reporting tools to help translate how operational performance impacts financial results
And a variety of other analytical projects that may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis, ideally supporting operations in a manufacturing setting or global supply chain
Preferred Qualifications:
Problem-solving skills and strong analytical capability
Attention to detail, project management discipline, and the ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
High collaboration work method and solid written and oral communication, ideally with global experience
Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, SAP EPM, and/or other financial analysis, statistical analysis and reporting tools
Travel:
3-4 x/ year or once/ quarter to plants supporting
Annual Salary Range: $65,400 - $83,300
Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, performance.
