Financial Analyst II

ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional and service-oriented **Financial Analyst II** to join our vehicle sustainment team on the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever Sanitization (ACAS) program.
The Financial Analyst II delivers financial and analytical assistance to various internal teams, external collaborators, and industry specialists. They support the construction, sustainment, and oversight of forecasting models like estimate at completion (EAC) and estimate to complete (ETC). This position supports Program Management activities, TOR Tasks and SubTasks as indicated in support of ACAS execution as part of the PMO Finance capability area, and will support ACAS activities from the assigned work location of Reston, VA.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**
+ Collect data from Program Leads to formulate plans, which include budgets, and necessitates interaction with vendors and customers when needed.
+ Track and report on the progress of plans to guarantee that contractual, cost, and schedule goals are achieved.
+ They prepare financial reports for the Government and manage expenditures. They initiate purchase requisitions for materials, subcontractors, equipment, production costs, and delivery schedules based on collected data; and analyze potential solutions using experience, judgment, and precedents.
+ They support the more senior Financial Analysts and Finance Managers as assigned in the execution of the ACAS financial plan. Identifies more simple business problems that impacts the level of service and the team’s ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness of objectives.
+ Guided by department policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan. Supports development of financial status and forecasting including costs incurred by CLIN and discrete project effort and projected costs to be incurred by CLIN, CSR, and funding documents.
+ Supports reporting of accumulated invoiced cost by CLIN, CSR, and funding document and determines cost variance between projected and actual costs by CLIN and CSR.
+ Supports the analysis of program financials and makes recommendations for changes, modifications, or improvements.
+ Uses the TO Portal data repository for financial tracking data. Proactively supports the ACAS Safety Plan. The Financial Analyst I receives necessary guidance and supervision from the Finance Manager IV and from the Financial Analyst III.
**Required Qualifications** :
+ 4 years of relevant work experience.
+ Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.
+ BA/BS degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 8 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 6 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree))
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
+ Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
+ Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
