ResponsibilitiesEmpower AI: As a Financial Analyst, you will work with a team of professionals who are responsible for designing, implementing, and administering security systems for the safety of the United States. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI’s mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.
Highlights of Responsibilities:
Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:Provide day-to-day support to a government Financial Liaison Officer, which include: initiating all purchase documents for supplies, services, contracts, government training and travel; collecting all invoices from accounts payable to create the authorization documents for payment; balance the budget; track all purchase being made; and support any other financial duties as assigned.Use Momentum softwareUse of the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP)Explain Federal budget requirements, Congressional budget actions, and relevant policies, directives, and regulations to supervisors and managersApply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Prepare documents and justifications related to contracting, travel and equipmentConduct fact finding, analysis and problem solving to gather facts, identify problems and recommend solutionsCommunicate in writing guidance, policies, and proceduresBrief management officials of various levelsCommunicate orally to negotiate purchases and to present technical information to a variety of audiencesWrite guidelines and instructive information to users and reports that succinctly summarize information on budget and program requirementsResponsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings.Answer phones and direct all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently.Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail as necessary; prepare, write, and edit a variety of correspondence, letters, and memos.Prepare, create, format, and edit spreadsheets, presentations, and chartsProficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications, ie MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.Performs work of highly confidential nature to relieve senior executives of wide range of administrative detailsPrioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow-through on issues in a timely manner.Review and complete Time and Attendance in a software system for every employee in the supported government’s organization daily.Enter all important documents in the supported customer’s Tracker Database, then file them in the file room in chronological order by the number the Tracker database generates.Coordinates corporate information with our PM and site Lead.
Qualifications
Requirements:
