Financial Analyst II
Job Description The primary responsibility of this role is to provide consistent, high-quality, direct and indirect support to the portfolio management teams. This is accomplished by managing and performing globally centralized investment-related, operational processes; responding to ad hoc requests and inquiries; and actively participating in other strategic functions and initiatives. Responsibilities + Under the general guidance of senior team members and management, support the ongoing operational activities associated with portfolio management. + Independently and through collaboration, provide business process analysis to identify processes lacking in operational efficiency or control with the purpose of implementing efficient, scalable, and risk-controlled solutions. + Depending on IL capacity constraints, support various IL groups by offering coverage for daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc strategy related workflows and investment staff support. + Maintain accurate and complete procedural documentation for assignments, participate in cross-training exercises, and provide operational coverage as needed for defined processes. + Act as a resource for junior members while helping them complete operational activities. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. + 2+ years of total relevant work experience. + Financial analysis and finance skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Investment operations knowledge and experience. + Strong technical skills (e.g., Excel, VBA, Outlook, etc.). + Experience with tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Dremio, and Power Query may be beneficial. + In-depth knowledge of a range of investment strategies, products, and services. + Understanding of corporate actions. + Process and detail oriented. + Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative. + Possess a positive, problem-solving oriented attitude. + Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risk. + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. + Desire to learn and take on challenges. + Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time. Work Environment Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office (Tuesday - Thursday) and remote work on Monday and Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
