Description
The Financial Analyst II plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization's financial health through accounting, customer service, and organizational functions. This position involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Please note: This is not a Medical Coding position.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
+ Payment Reconciliation and Accuracy
+ Analyze carrier statements for payment discrepancies or errors, ensuring plan participants are charged accurately at the Employee/Employer tier.
+ Conduct monthly verification and accuracy checks on assigned accounts. Research and resolve discrepancies, ensuring corrections are identified and communicated promptly.
+ Strategic Problem Solving
+ Develop and implement strategic processes to ensure accurate results. Utilize critical thinking skills to independently identify and resolve issues.
+ Data Communication and Reporting
+ Clearly present and explain analytical data to internal and external business partners, ensuring effective communication of financial insights.
+ Process Adherence and Adaptability
+ Follow Paychex/Oasis Standard Operating Procedures for timely payment and reconciliation. Adapt to changes in procedures based on evolving business needs.
+ Collaboration
+ Partner with internal and external stakeholders to uphold proper billing procedures and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:
+ Education:
+ Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with an advanced understanding of reconciliation processes.
+ Skills:
+ Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
+ Problem Solving: Ability to apply critical thinking to analyze and resolve complex issues.
+ Communication: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills to clearly explain issues and propose resolutions.
