Description

Great growth opportunity for a high-level experienced Financial Analyst. This person will have the opportunity to interact with enterprise-wide teams, including executive leaders, and influence the company’s bottom line. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced, high pressure environments using problem solving, conducting challenging analytical work & spearheading process improvement initiatives to provide insightful solutions that grow the company’s profitability.

Job Responsibilities Works under general guidance, accountable to complete work independently or with other team members/business partners, under indirect supervision Lead specialized projects or processes several times annually – will provide general guidance to team members to complete deliverables Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis Back-up for facilitating larger-scale meetings, expected to facilitate small or individualized meetings independently Must demonstrate the ability to apply these tools and principles with minimal direction from senior staff, only on more complex analyses – should be able to complete most tasks independently or collaborating with other team members or cross-org partners Develop and maintain positive working relationships with business owners, team members, and other business partners Recommend modifications of established practices and procedures to successfully handle a full range of routine and non-routine assignments and projects Coordinates the development, analysis, and review of financial data and applicable future business and financial plans Tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and preparing financial reports Assisting project teams with financial guidance Performing thorough research and analysis as required Prepare and review financial presentations as required and reviewed with Senior Leadership team Perform ad hoc analysis on all areas of the business as requested by the designated leadership team Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions Mentors staff under indirect reporting relationships Qualifications Four Year Degree – Finance or related field Minimum of 5+ Years in a Finance-related job Strong knowledge of financial analysis and accepted accounting principles Statistical analysis using spreadsheet and graphical formats, utilizing computer-based programming and other systems for presentation of analysis of financial reports Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Required – knowledge of advanced spreadsheet functions (including graphics and macros), utilizing Excel for complex financial modeling, and PowerPoint Highly-proficient in financial planning systems – TM1 Planning Analytics suite Accustomed to a fast-pace / adhoc environment Data relationship & mining experience – experience using any of the following: Microsoft SQL, Teradata, Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI Office Environment - roles involving hybrid schedule in office environment at least 2 days weekly. Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
