The Financial Analyst III will have direct responsibility for supporting the FP&A efforts of the Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) within the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG). You will report to the Senior Manager of Division FP&A and will be actively involved in the forecasting, reporting, and consolidation processes, with access to the Division and Finance Leadership teams. You will also be developing solid cross-functional business partnerships, leading special projects, improving processes, and implementing business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Support CMD Divisional timely & accurate consolidations of the CMD MBR/QBR, Forecasts, Target Validations, AOP activities, monthly PLN system loads and tie outs.Support forecasting and reporting for CMD Division including cost center mapping, G/L coding, close support.Maintain, roll over and distribute FX model to audience and monthly templates.Complete and handle Monthly Division office cross chargesSupport FLDP training and ensure accurate transition and delivery of recurring reports to the leadership team.Partner with functional leadership in reporting requirements including headcount reporting, operating expenses, and forecast reviews.Support reporting for the Company Leadership Team (CLT) including weekly Revenue Attainment meeting guidance and maintenance, Month End close Executive Report and quarterly Revenue Flashes.Identify, develop, and implement improvements to existing reporting and forecasting processes, keeping pace with changes.Complete ad-hoc requests as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or relatedMinimum 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, or successful completion of Thermo Fishers’ Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP)Skilled in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), including upload templates, consolidations, financial close proceduresOutstanding quantitative and analytical capabilities, including proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, Lookups, Index/Match, conditional statements, etc.)Organized with ability to maintain accuracy of information and complete tasks with little direct supervisionEffective verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to transfer and share knowledge.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and allow for a dynamic work calendar which may include heavier workload at critical times.
