Job Overview

Salary Range: $80-90K 

Role is 100% remote, but candidate must be able to work Pacific and Central time zone hours.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Treasurer, this position will be responsible for analyzing cash flows and associated drivers to maximize cash management.  This position is highly collaborative with other functional areas of the business including FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Tax, Payables, Receivables, Legal and Audit to ensure forward cash planning and execution. Supports key areas of cash forecasting and treasury reporting.  This role will assist in the analysis, execution and implementation of corporate finance strategies including capital structure, financing initiatives and other projects tied to improvements in working capital and cash forecasting. Supporting projects that encompass changes to systems and processes aimed at removing inefficiencies, reducing manual work, and positioning the company for scalability and growth.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Liquidity Forecasting and Cash Flow Analysis

Work cross-functionally with Billing, Collections, Payables and other functions to capture, analyze and track data that allows for accurate cash flow projectionsReconcile cash flows and monitor levers to optimize cash flow performance Support the 13 week and long-term liquidity forecasting models, weekly variance analysis and related review meetings Support cash flow analysis and automation for subsidiary companiesMonitor and report on initiatives designed to improve working capital performance Support the improvement and automation of the cash forecasting process

 

Cash Management and Treasury Operations

Support liquidity and debt exposure via monitoring and analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls and ensure all accounting, financial reporting, audit, and related deliverables are met on timeMonitor and ensure Company compliance with financial covenantsSupport leasing analysis and pricingPrepare accurate, timely, and consistent reports, including key financial metrics and key performance indicators Proactively collaborate with peers to solve business challengesConduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes and initiatives, provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as neededAnalyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of collections, disbursements, and capital expendituresMonitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected varianceHelp streamline procedures and improve system efficiencyAdditional departmental duties as needed and assigned, of which the above are representative

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

Basic GAAP Accounting knowledgeProcess design and process managementERP systems and related software (Epicor, NetSuite, Sage or similar preferred)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel and modeling skillsBuild partnerships across functionsManage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with other teamsAbility to effectively handle multiple competing priorities and deadlines under pressure

Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years of overall experience in FP&A, cash management, capital markets, and/or corporate finance in a corporate or banking environmentBS in Finance or Accounting required
