Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst/Manager to join our team in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan. The role involves working in the financial planning and analysis sector, with a focus on data analytics and business intelligence. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights to the team. • Utilize data analytics and mining techniques to support business intelligence initiatives and drive process improvement. • Conduct complex financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. • Prepare and update financial forecasts, including revenue, expense, and cash flow projections, to support strategic planning and decision-making. • Assist in the management of the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. • Create and deliver board presentations summarizing financial performance, forecasts, and key insights. • Work with various systems, including Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint, to provide insightful reporting, analytics, and forecasts. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field. • Proficiency in data mining techniques. • Experience with annual budget preparation and oversight. • Familiarity with various budget processes. • Proficiency in Power BI or similar data analysis tools. • Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives. • Ability to conduct complex financial analysis. • Experience with ad hoc financial analysis. • Strong capability to provide financial analysis for decision-making. • Proficiency in analytics and data interpretation. • Experience in preparing board presentations. • Ability to create compelling presentations for various audiences.
