Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst - Real Estate Development + Facilities Department.
The Financial Analyst supports the Finance Operations division of the Real Estate Development + Facilities Department, and performs financial management responsibilities related to commercial and residential real estate leases and property management.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain contact with landlords and vendorsMaintain updated data in Unifier and work with the Operations group to maintain correct data and identify required adjustmentsWork with the Real Estate group in the setup of new leases including vendor/landlord setup issues, processing of initial obligationsProvide timely and concise customer service to vendors, landlords, internal departments and other divisionsReconcile and resolve rent statements and outstanding invoice statements on an ongoing basis so payments are paid in a timely mannerPrepare month end accruals, journal entries, re-classes and chargebacksSubmit landlord utility bills to third party processorSet-up new vendors/landlords as neededAssist in gathering necessary information for auditsProvide overall financial support for review/processing of lease related payables in a timely manner, including processing and status updates of financial analysis, invoice processing, etc.Perform financial analysis including analysis requests for budget developmentAct as backup/support for housing financial management operationsAd hoc projects or other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree1 year relevant work experience or an equivalent combinationSuperior communication skills, both written and verbalPossess strong customer service and problem solving skill setsPreferred Qualifications:
3 years relevant work experience or an equivalent combinationAttention to detail and work with little to no supervision.Strong accounts payable/receivable and overall basic accounting skills (i.e. journal entries, etc)Excellent analytical and reporting skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, etc)Ability to use time effectively and multi-taskAble to set priorities independently but consult with supervisor when appropriate.Must have strong customer service and communication skills.Must be organized and understand the confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $75,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
