Financial Analyst - Supply Chain

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Financial Analyst is responsible for providing decision support through financial and situational analysis. This individual is responsible for supporting the development of the supply chain financial infrastructure as well as providing analytical support to departments in supply chain, such as purchasing, transportation, and operations. 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the accounting department to formulate well-informed pricing strategies that align with financial objectives and market dynamics.Analyze historical financial data, cost structures, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations for supply chain pricing decisions.Create financial models to assess the financial impact of various pricing scenarios on revenue, margin, and profitability.Attend meetings with accounting resources to develop future financial plans for the supply chain.Liaise with finance and operational teams to collect accurate cost data related to supply chain, including transportation, labor, and overhead.Monitor the financial performance of implemented pricing strategies, analyzing actual outcomes against projected results.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and pricing data used in analysis and decision-making.Maintain reports in Power BI to display financial metricsProvides research and analytical support to internal customers including, but not limited to: financial analysis, data analysis, trend identification, as well as monitoring and summarizing the progress of products and promotions.Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solves for them using analysis to make strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or Accounting from an accredited 4-year college or university required1-3 years of advanced computer skills at a super-user level, including:Power Bi or Tableau (required)SQL Server (required)Advanced Microsoft Office Functionalities, with a focus on Excel for analysis (required)Workday (preferred)1+ year of experience in supply chain finance (preferred)
