**Job Description**
**AECOM is looking for a Financial and Administrative Accountant for employment in Lima, Peru.**
**The responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Provides professional-level accounting support.
+ Maintains records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for corporate and local books.
+ Supports medium-complexity projects, working under general supervision. Includes projects executed in a Consortium.
+ Reviews reconciliations between the Corporate and Local accounting books; should include analysis of items and recommendations for improvements or solutions.
+ Coordinates with the accounting outsourcing team for the timely recording of accounting entries within the monthly closing process.
+ Coordinates with the accounting outsourcing team for the timely filing of tax obligations with SUNAT and other municipal entities.
+ Reports transactions for recording in Oracle (Customer Invoices, Supplier Invoices, and Cash Receipts and Disbursements).
+ Performs accounting tasks including the research and preparation of account reconciliations, project account entries, and balance sheets and/or financial statements.
+ Makes recommendations based on account analysis.
+ Works with internal clients to gather and provide information.
+ Must understand the relationships between accounts and have intermediate and advanced knowledge of accounting and financial analysis principles. This level requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts productively and consistently.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelors degree in Public Accountingor related field +2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, public accountant or similar. in
+ Microsoft office skills: (Outlook, Excel, Word)
**Preferred experience/requirements:**
+ 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Oracle software knowledge
+ Bilingual English Spanish
