Job Summary This position plans and conducts monitoring, auditing, investigations and special projects. The auditor assists/advises departments/facilities in developing monitoring protocols and efficient and effective internal controls. The auditor supports operational staff in identifying risks and assists in evaluating controls. The auditor assists in overseeing audit projects including planning and training other auditors assigned to projects. Graduate Degree, preferred. Experience: Minimum one year relevant experience, required. Additional Skills (required): The auditor should have an intermediate level of knowledge, skills and abilities with regard to researching regulations and standards, accounting standards, legal standards, internal controls, proficiency with Microsoft applications, financial statement analysis, writing and listening. The auditor has a basic level of knowledge, skills and abilities with regard to reimbursement protocols, understanding operations as they interface with the area of expertise, proficiency with applications required for area of expertise, data and evidence analysis, interviewing and presenting materials. The auditor should have limited knowledge, skills and abilities with regard to compliance program requirements. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
