Financial Business Analyst
Job Description

Financial services group seeks a Financial Business Analyst to join their team and be part of their financial ledger integration implementation, as they build their correspondent banking business. This is a specialist opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate who has a strong background in finance and accounting, but you have an affinity or interest for software and financial systems. Great working environment and team culture. Hybrid working model. 

Responsibilities: 

Understand and action finance processes, user stories, document and maintain requirements  Understand user workflow, dependencies and blockers, train users to efficiently use the system, spotting any inefficiencies in product flow Manage automate chart of accounts, understand the various accounts, outcomes and events that affect it  Identify opportunities for automation in the system, to maintain accurate and controlled workflows 

Requirements: 

Minimum of a completed degree or equivalent in finance Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance, Treasury, FP&A or related middle office banking  Working knowledge of financial systems and the financial cycle Keen interest in banking systems and willingness to re-build core banking Structured, problem solver, able to prioritise a large workload  Empathetic towards user experience, passionate about quality Ability to give and receive structured feedback
