About the Business Analyst- Financial Role:
Under the direction of the Enterprise Applications Business Operations Lead, the Business Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting the College in the implementation of enterprise technology solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. This position involves working closely with leadership to evaluate financial performance, forecast future trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize business performance.
Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
· Analyze, track forecast expenditures for project and operating budgets, as required· Review, analyze and prepare financial summaries reports for Senior Leadership and Executives· Liaise with Management various internal or external resource personnel as required· Oversee organization of budget data into appropriate budget files systems· Maintain strict confidentiality of budget data relative to more sensitive data, e.g., salary/contract costsManagement Reporting
· Lead the preparation of month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting processes procedures· Identify financial/business risks and/or opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risk and leverage opportunities· Identify, distinguish and analyze financial activities and provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision makingData Analysis Process Improvement:
· Leverage advanced analytics tools and techniques to support decision-making.· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration:
