Financial Centers Merchandising Strategy, Senior Associate

The JPMorgan Financial Centers represent an essential part of our experience transformation for affluent customers. This role will be responsible for supporting the merchandising strategy and execution, working with multiple stakeholders and partners to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

As a Merchandising Strategy Senior Associate within Consumer Banking, you will play a crucial role in our experience transformation for affluent customers. You will be responsible for defining the strategy and overseeing campaign execution to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will partner with multiple stakeholders and teams, manage resources effectively, and promote a strong controls environment. Your role will involve strategy development, program management, and performance tracking to ensure excellence in customer engagement and relationship building.

Job responsibilities

Support branch merchandising fixture placement and optimization, ensuring adherence to documented standards and evolving as necessary. Assist with strategy development, planning, and oversight of branch marketing campaigns. Support program development, solutions, and testing plans to deliver on business objectives, improve customer experience, engage customers, and support the field in building relationships and delivering with excellence. Partner with field leadership, real estate, brand team, and campaign management to develop program strategy, establish prioritization, and oversee program and campaign execution. Build measurement programs jointly with the Campaign Management team to track performance and optimize merchandising; partner with Analytics and Research teams to plan for and report on results. Manage cost and resources effectively, identifying better ways of executing efficiently and eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy. Promote a strong controls environment to evaluate and manage our current controls and procedures; develop preventative processes to strengthen our framework. Prepare for and present strategy and program performance. Support ordering and fulfillment of hospitality items and branch collateral.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

4-year degree in Marketing, Fashion, Hospitality, or Business Management. 5+ years of marketing experience. Experience in luxury brand, hospitality, retailing, and/or apparel. Develops strong partnerships; leads through collaboration; recognized as a team player. Experienced leader with a strong track record of inspiring high-performing teams, helping to guide and prioritize effectively. Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results. Experienced in marketing strategy and campaign program management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills. Excels at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills—especially for C-suite audiences. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Master’s degree in Marketing, Fashion, Hospitality, or Business Management. Highly curious and never settles for good enough—experienced in developing and executing test and learn plans. Experienced in delivering end-to-end customer experience to ensure excellence throughout. Faces facts, acts on issues quickly, removes roadblocks, eliminates unnecessary bureaucracy, and learns from mistakes. Demonstrates effective management of details and financials. Understands and applies proactive risk mitigation, manages through issues, and escalates appropriately.
