THE OPPORTUNITY

The Financial Controller at US6 Greenville guarantees fulfillment of the entity’s economic objectives: Manufacturing costs, raw material expenses, sales, overhead expenses, purchases …) by focusing on and monitoring the economic and financial aspects of strategic and operational decisions, by ensuring compliance with standards.
They are placed under the hierarchical authority of the Plant Activity Manager.

They are placed under the authority of a transverse manager: the business partner controller of the global team.

This position is located in Greenville, SC, conveniently located within driving distance to east coast beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains and large cities like Atlanta and Charlotte. The mild climate, charming downtown, and impressive culinary scene are just a few of the perks of living here.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The position requires heavy reporting expertise that is financially focused; balanced with Industrial performance.  It is very detail oriented.Steer the management team in their financial decisionsWill be a part of an international network of Business Partner Controllers        Prepare the annual budget and forecasts      Complete the month end financial closing activitiesProduce monthly and ad hoc reports               Collect and prepare monthly intra-group billing information from multiple sourcesComplete financial journal entries       Collaborate with internal partners regarding their billing or pricing             Review the pricing of molds and mold components versus costs; set pricing annually           Ensure the shop is staying within absorption guidelines monthly and annually, pulling levers as needed to stay on track              Reconcile inventory on a monthly basisHandle invoices on hold        Give input on capital investments and guarantee payback   Handle the cost panel in plant daily performance meetings, participate and lead problem solving toolsInternational travel for network meetings may occur once a yearOffice 365 expertise in tools such as: Access, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel Power Pivot and Power Automate are employed in all tools that are currently in use.  (A desire to learn and become an authority is needed.)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

B.S. or equivalent experience in Business Accounting or Finance, or related field2-5 years Accounting/Financial Management experienceO360, Excel, Power-BI, Power Query, Oracle, SharePoint desirableCPA or CMA or MBA is helpfulAbility to travel internationally (approximately 1 trip per year)
