Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
In conjunction with ITT’s Motion Technologies Executive Management, establish and monitor financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a regularly recurring basisCoordinate and oversee the preparation of financial statementsCoordinate activities of internal and external auditors, as neededAssess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processesEvaluate accounting and internal control systemsEstablish a budgeting process and manage the receipt and payment of all invoices, payments, and billingDevelop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflowProvide senior management with information vital to the decision-making processSupervision of others performance regarding accountant reconciliations and other accounting functions including reporting.Compiles Statistical data utilized to support footnotes to company financial statements. Position RequirementsPosition Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Five to Seven years related experience in finance.Experience must include a specialized knowledge of general accounting principles and practices. CPA a plus or MBA.A proven track record of performance and accomplishments in growing corporation.Experience with Hyperion, Oracle or SAP, Lean Six Sigma preferred.Firm knowledge of GAP, CAS and industry best practices.Management experienceAdvanced computer skills.Advanced Excel experienceProven ability to drive process improvements: efficiency and effectiveness.Safety is a core value at ITT.
