Are you a detail-oriented financial expert with a passion for budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting? In this role, you will provide support to the functional departments within your scope of responsibility, particularly in controlling, as part of the GBS FIN Team in Germany.
In the position as Financial Controller, you will provide professional service and expertise in a broad and overarching area of financial matters, like planning, analysis and reporting for organizational unit(s) assigned: You will prepare budgets and proceeds with periodic forecasts during the year, taking into account local planning premises and targets. You will carry out detailed controlling, perform comparisons Plan vs. Actual, and pursue effects of agreed measures. You rely on a close and cooperative partnership with the heads of departments and stakeholders and create a meaningful management reporting to ensure business success and support the upcoming business decisions with your commercial knowledge You will support and advise the partners of the business lines and service lines in your area of responsibility in financial topics, you will deal with queries of our partners and carry out out ad-hoc analyses You will carry out costing & pricing, proposal preparation and profitability calculations In addition, you will participate in initiatives for the further development and introduction of new methods, processes and procedures for operational controlling with a focus on innovation, digitization and automation. Here's what you should bring to the table for a successful application: 3-5 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or related area Fluency in German on B2 level is a must, English language knowledge is also mandatory Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint SAP experience is very welcome Willingness to travel (maximum 2-3 times per year to visit the team in Germany) We care about your wellbeing!
