Summary:

Responsible for the operational direction and administration of activities within the assigned departments and/or outlets involving the non-gaming functions of Finance and Accounting, for corporate and property entities, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and non-gaming Finance and Accounting. Assist the divisional executive with the development and execution of the division’s strategic plans.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of assigned leadership staff Oversee the execution of the division’s operational plans in the assigned areas Ensure work performance standards, and employee development programs maximize the individual growth and development of staff Oversee the month end and year end closing process for all non-gaming related areas Review balance sheet account reconciliations & financial statements Manage daily interactions with auditors from state, local and public accounting firms Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards Perform other duties as assigned
