This position is through the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology located in Baltimore MDThe Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology IMET seeks to hire a Financial Coordinator to assist the Assistant Director of Research with financial administration of grants and contracts The primary duties include to process and verify accuracy of financial transactions and ensuring compliance with various federal and state policies This role will also track subcontract invoices accounts receivable accounts payable and other routine administrative office tasksThe successful candidate will be an important member of HAB CTI project and will assist with project coordination in areas of finance and accounting as part of regular duties This position is a contractual II position renewed annually depending on funding
