The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Financial Counselor to join the Department of Psychiatry. Primary duties include:

Obtaining or clarifying all financial and demographic data of patient Liaison between patients, physician’s office, and other hospital departments Reviewing accounts for any changes in status (e.g. insurance fees) Arranging for self pay deposits and secure sponsorship Screening patients to determine eligibility for government assisted programs Assisting patients with billing inquiries Other duties as assigned 

Salary: $29.42/hr – $42.14/hr
